Bwaa. Ahh. Ah.

So, my job has [un]officially mutated into something completely other than what is was when I began my employment. I still have a basket full o' paper that needs to be processed and it's growing by the day (mind you).

The discovery of the fact that I can actually do "stuff" has had a trickle-down effect on the staff. If I'm not writing a proposal letter for someone, I'm looking over thier shoulder to teach them how to do a certain something in our software. If not, then I'm chasing down monies owed to us or screaming at whoever for the fact that our electricity is out. Or getting dirty in the server room pulling cords and installing software.

The clerical stuff that I did early on just doesn't get done anymore. Since my assistant has been out it's just been piling up - I may need to get a second "in" box. Our office has been growing at a clip and I haven't been caught up since June.

I guess this means that I'm not a photocopier monkey anymore, huh?

Oooh yeah, go get dirty in the server room! Oh, not THAT kind of dirty? Damn!

I wish I could just put all my undone paperwork in a second in-box (I've been using the trashcan for this) and ignore it but eventually I keep getting asked about papers that were filed weeks ago.
