Every morning the folks in my office having a meeting of the minds to discuss who's working on what project and administrative stuff. Occasionally, the question of "What did you do this weekend?" comes up. By that point, I usually turn my back to them and pretend to be occupied with something.
Inevitably, the twins have done something involving girls and bars. B.H. has done something involving fishing. Other people cleaned their houses.
Bossman rents a 17-foot boat, spends the day on the lake, and prospects boats and waterfront property to buy...
Okay, this is the same guy who won't fork over $8/month plus a per person fee so that we can have direct deposit.
Does anyone else see a problem with coming in and bragging to the staff about your upcoming SCUBA trip ("We'll be out tomorrow because we have to go finish up our certification") and then bitching about $200/year so that we don't have to run to the bank every payday like poverty cases?
I'm just saying. One of the twins said yesterday, jokingly, that if he was going to come in and talk about buying boats, then he shouldn't plead poverty when it comes to the business, because it's not our problem if he can't keep the lights on...in his boat.

I didn't like my co-workers much. Gossipy biddies for the most part.

I've been shopping around for some solutions that will eliminate the burden of cost for direct deposit and think I have found one.
If he rejects this idea, then he's cheap as hell and that'll prove it.
