I'm not a big fan of people who make offers to do nice things just because they think that you're not going to take them up on it.
That's why I always tell them "No, thank you." I realize that these aren't the sorts of people who will ever put themselves out for you so you never want to get yourself in situation where they have anything to hold over your head.
Remember a couple of weeks ago when I couldn't get anyone here to pick Oops! up downtown so that I could finish my lunch? After spending ten days being the only person that would take her home from work?
Quite funny that those same anyones complain mightily when I decide to buy myself breakfast without offering to bring them anything back. You know, I really felt bad that I had done that. I went to McDonald's on my own time and on my own dime to get something to eat. I rarely take the breaks that are allowed, so if I should spend 15 minutes driving there and back no-God-damn-body has the right to say a damn thing about it. I also realized that it would be expected that I foot the bill for those cheap-asses and I wasn't feeling that generous.
The very fact that it was insinuated that they didn't have time to go to McDonald's because they were working is quite funny to me.
These same people spend at least an hour standing outside this door smoking every day.
I'm sorry, did I miss something? When did everyone become insincere jackholes?

Then at my last eval, I found out that these shitholes had been badmouthing me to my supervisor, all the while smiling at me and eating my candy.
Yeah, that candy bowl dried up pretty quick.
And yeah, they had the nerve to comment.

I think it was around the same times as the birth of the blues.
