I've been a bit slack in spewing remarks concerning my Netflix views recently, so here's the past couple of weeks in a nutshell.
Like
"Debbie does ..." embarrassing
or
"The Stuff" embarrassing?
Spill it sister.

Posted by: Tiffany at December 13, 2004 03:52 PMI thought you were talking about Boiler Room the brokerage movie and I thought you were nuts. I was in the brokerage business and the guys in the movie were classic brokerage sleazeballs (no offense to any brokerage sleazeballs reading - I had my license, too, guys). Great movie.
Eternal Sunshine Out My Ass - Pretty fuckin' awful.
Chocolat - Awesome. Gotta love grimey Johnny Depp and Juliet Binoche is breathtaking. Great story.
Saved - Okay, but I expected more.
Mean Girls - Good but I expected A LOT more. I expected guffaws and only got snickers.
Something's Gotta Give - I enjoyed it. I love Diane Keaton. Really sweet.
I'll have to get Dodgeball - is it funnier than Meet the Parents?
The whole family really enjoyed Elf. It may be too sweet for your taste, but Will Farrell makes me laugh without uttering a word. In Old School he is just fabulous.
Please do more movie reviews - I like to know your opinion.
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is such a brilliant, inventive film.
it was very refreshing to see such an original romantic movie with jim carrey, who continues to amaze me, paired with kate winslet.
i heavily recommend seeing it. so,.... go see it.
what are you doing? go see it. or see it again.
Posted by: scott at December 13, 2004 06:34 PMWhat is this, Scott posts comments once evey blue moon and when he does he's disagreeable? feh.
We saw Elf a couple of weeks ago. I looooooooooooved that movie. It had to be the best holiday thing I've seen since "A Charlie Brown Christmas."
I can't remember "Meet the Parents." Scott claims I've seen it...I must have been doing laundry.
Posted by: Tiffany at December 13, 2004 07:19 PMi am just stating my opinion, tiffany. you know i loved it and i am not posting it just to ruffle the feathers.
dodgeball is as funny as meet the parents. it's the same kind of slapstick humor.
Posted by: Scott Pridgen at December 13, 2004 09:25 PMYou ruffle mine, and I'll pluck yours.
Posted by: Tiffany at December 13, 2004 09:29 PM...in the most loving way possible of course.
Posted by: Tiffany at December 13, 2004 09:40 PMI agree it was an inventive idea, Scott. It is Charlie Kaufman, after all. I just think it was poorly executed. I loved Adaptation and Being John Malkovich, two winners. It's kind of like Memento - excellent idea, but sometimes excellent ideas are difficult to translate onto the screen as coherent or good entertainment. I stand by original review - it sucked ass. Hard.
BTW, be nice to Tiffany - she's had a tough week! And keep your "plucking" private, please...
