The no-show of Wednesday never e-mailed, nor called in his apologies. Oddly enough, when I scheduled all three interviews, I predicted out loud to my co-workers that it would be the Thursday 4:15 wouldn't show up, not the Wednesday.
Well, the Thursday 4:15 didn't show up either. She did, however, e-mail me the morning of the interview saying that she had a work conflict and asked if she could reschedule. I discussed it, and my annoyance with the situation, with my team and we decided to let her go ahead and reschedule.
I sent her an emotionless e-mail requesting that she let me know of a time on yesterday, or this coming Monday or Tuesday that she could come in. I checked my work e-mail exactly fifteen seconds ago and she hasn't yet responded.
Well then. Fortunately, the one candidate that did show up was exicited enough about the position that she's been invited in for a "Watch this--are you sure you want to do this?" day on Monday.
Wish us luck. If this chick stays longer than four hours, she'll be the first woman in that position to stay a full day. I don't think they can handle all the testosterone from the boys [I had a picture of Larry, Curly, and Moe on my digital camera...I think I may have deleted it.] and my full-time PMS shield.
